Paul Weiss global chairman Brad Karp lauds lawyers challenging ‘Muslim ban”

Brad Karp, global chairman of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison sent an email to the firm’s lawyers and staff on 30 January thanking the lawyers who appeared at US airports to challenge the ‘Muslim ban” executive order issued by US president Donald Trump. More than 50 lawyers from the firm participated in legal efforts to help those travelers affected by the order. Paul Weiss teams appeared at airports including JFK and Dulles. Hogan Lovells and Kirkland & Ellis are among the firms whose lawyers assisted at airports since the policy went into effect.
